Course Reflection
This class has taught me a lot about thinking outside of the box. Not only that, it has also taught me to look at things from a different perspective but my own. To really look at a problem and understand from different racial points and political views. I met some great people along the way that understood who I am as a person. Criminal Justice has always been an interesting subject, because it covers so much. The games we played during class instead of taking quizzes and tests really helped me learn the material.
I have gotten to take part in some awesome events along the way as well, which made me realize how something so small like a simple food and clothing setup can help individuals living on the streets. In addition, listening to all of the panelists talk about their life stories and what they are doing to change their communities makes me want to take part in these events more often. Doing something outside of my comfort zone is hard, not because I am nervous, but because it is breaking a habit. Sometimes however, that's what people need to overcome.
Thank you Anthony for a great semester, I am sure it was stressful for you with all of the homework grading, and setting up events. As well as moving all the way from another state. I appreciate you as a person and what you are doing for students. The school system needs more people like you to keep it on it's toes. I hope that I can take the knowledge I learned from you and this class into my future and help others too. The only way we can fix today's problems are beating them as a community.
